The Resort This year, we are going to this WONDERFUL destination with a BEAUTIFUL oceanfront resort, Catalonia Gran Dominicus Resort. There is something for everyone to do at this beautiful oceanfront property! A great getaway for families, couples and singles. The resort is located on the southeast side of the island (the BEST diving side!) in La Romana, near a small village, Bayahibe. This island abounds with tropical nature, beautiful sugar sand beaches, and warm sunshine! The people are warm and friendly, too. And, you need NOT be a diver!
The Diving and Snorkeling If you are a diver or would like to be, the diving is great! Dominican Republic is not as known for its diving, but, it is a well kept secret! Divers and snorkelers will appreciate the closeness of off-shore reefs. Plus, we'll take an excursion to the famous Catalina Island for more spectacular diving! The dive operation, Gri Gri Dive is right on sight!
